Who you are dealing with
Ripper's Games is an independent developer operating as one person, contactable at [email protected]. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation, Discord Inc., or itch.io.
What a purchase gets you
Buying a Ripper's Games product buys a licence to use it, not ownership of it. The licence is personal, worldwide, non-exclusive, and cannot be transferred to anyone else.
You may:
- use the assets, models, and tools in your own projects, including commercial ones;
- modify them to fit what you are building;
- ship them inside a finished game or experience.
You may not:
- resell, redistribute, or give away the files themselves, modified or not;
- publish them in an asset pack, marketplace listing, or free asset dump;
- share your download link or key, which works once and is tied to you;
- claim authorship of the original assets or tools.
In short: build whatever you like with them, but the assets themselves stay mine to sell.
Redeeming a Robux purchase
Some products can be bought as a Roblox clothing item and redeemed for a download in the Discord server. That flow works like this:
- One redemption per account. Each Roblox account and each Discord account can redeem a given product once. Buying the clothing item twice does not produce a second download.
- Buy from the linked listing only. Only a purchase of the exact Roblox item linked from the shop panel can be verified.
- Check the panel before buying. If the shop panel says stock is empty or the shop is under maintenance, do not buy the clothing item yet. Robux spent while the panel is red cannot be refunded by me.
- Ownership is confirmed by Roblox. You sign in with Roblox and approve a check of your identity and whether your inventory contains the item. What that involves is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Removing or reselling the clothing item after redeeming does not revoke your download, but attempting to redeem again with an account that no longer owns it will fail.
Payments and refunds
Money and Robux never pass through Ripper's Games directly. Purchases are handled by Roblox, the Roblox Creator Store, or itch.io, and each has its own refund policy, which governs the transaction.
Robux purchases are not refundable by me, because I cannot reverse a Roblox transaction. What I will do is fix delivery: if you bought the right item and the download did not reach you, post in the Discord help channel and you will be sorted out personally. If a product is materially broken and I cannot fix it, contact me and we will resolve it.
Downloads and availability
Download links and keys are personal and single use. Treat one like a receipt: anyone holding it can claim the product in your place, and a key claimed by someone else cannot be recovered for you.
Products are delivered through itch.io, and updates appear there. Nothing here promises indefinite availability, a fixed update schedule, or that a given service will stay online, though you will be told in the Discord server before anything is withdrawn.
The Discord server
The server has straightforward rules: no harassment, no spam, no piracy or sharing of paid files, no advertising without asking, and no attempting to abuse the shop. Breaking them can cost you access to the server. Losing server access does not revoke a licence you already paid for, and downloads already issued stay yours.
Deliberately abusing redemption, such as trying to claim a product you have not bought or exploiting a bug to draw extra keys, voids the licence for that product without a refund.
Fair use of the service
Do not attempt to break, overload, or reverse engineer the shop service, and do not automate requests against it. Access can be withdrawn from anyone who does.
No warranty, and the limit of liability
Products are provided as is. They are made carefully and used in my own work, but no promise is made that any of them is free of defects or fit for a particular purpose. To the fullest extent the law allows, liability for any claim connected to a product or to these services is limited to what you paid for that product.
Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
Changes to these terms
These terms can change. The date at the top changes with them, and anything significant is announced in the Discord server. Continuing to use the products or the server after a change means accepting the updated terms.
